Battersea Project Builder Chooses Fusion Hinges By Cooke Brothers
Award winning house builder Weston Homes, recently voted by What House? As the Best Medium Sized Housebuilder in the UK for second year in succession, has now received a further accolade with a World Wide award for Best High Rise Architecture for its prestigious Bridges Wharf Battersea Project.
The Ironmongery specification for the commercial development at Bridges Wharf development on the south bank of the Thames was awarded to John Planck Ltd, one of the UK's leading Architectural Ironmongers. Working to a challenging delivery schedule, the team at John Planck specified a suite of ironmongery from leading manufacturers, designed to reflect the high quality requirements of the project.
With over five hundred doorsets on the site, John Planck approached Cooke Brothers Ltd to supply their Phoenix brand 7730 and 7750 Concealed Bearing range of hinges, to be supplied in a variety of finishes and to suit a number of applications, including special Satin Brass Projection hinges for the interconnecting doors in the hotel rooms.
Gary Whitbread, John Planck's Area Sales Manager commented "Bridges Wharf is a prestigious development, spanning sixteen levels of residential and commercial floors incorporating four hotel floors, business centre, Spa, heliport areas and a Penthouse. We needed the support of manufacturers who could supply high specification products, in different finishes and to suit various applications, whilst at the same time meeting the challenging delivery dates the programme called for. I am pleased to say that Cooke Brothers provided the hinges and delivered on all fronts. We will certainly be specifying our Fusion Hinges from the Phoenix range on future projects".
